Job Summary
Engineering Manager for an offshore FEED PMC project based in Abu Dhabi, leading a multidisciplinary engineering team through FEED deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, offshore layouts, equipment datasheets) and ensuring technical integrity, compliance with offshore standards and regulatory requirements, and readiness for EPC execution. Responsible for coordinating processes across disciplines (process, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation, pipeline, marine, naval), establishing execution strategy, reviewing critical FEED deliverables, managing schedules and budgets, supporting risk assessment activities (HAZID/HAZOP/SIL), interfacing with the client and third parties, and aligning design changes with commercial/contractual requirements. Strong leadership, offshore design knowledge, stakeholder management, and a commitment to safety-in-design are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Deep knowledge of FEED methodologies and offshore project lifecycle
- Experience with offshore design standards and classification societies (ABS, DNV, API, ISO)
- Ability to coordinate multi-discipline engineering activities and deliver FEED deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, layouts)
- Stakeholder management and client interface experience
- Safety-in-design and QHSE compliance experience
- Budget and schedule management for offshore projects
- Knowledge of CAPEX/OPEX considerations and risk assessment
