Job Summary
Software Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams in delivering robust, secure, scalable software solutions. Responsibilities include AI-forward engineering practices, strategic planning, project management, and technical leadership; mentorship of team leads and engineers; guiding architectural and technical decisions; collaborating with Product, Design, Data, and Operations to align roadmaps and customer outcomes; driving delivery quality, reliability, observability, and performance; managing capacity, prioritization, and debt reduction; and shaping engineering culture and health metrics.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience on a software development team
- 3+ years experience in a software leadership role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot
- Experience in web-based software delivery of client/customer-facing applications
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of MVC, OOP, data structures, and algorithms with emphasis on scale
- Experience with test-driven development (NUnit or similar)
- REST API design using .NET Core 3.x and newer (C#)
- Experience building Micro Services with ASP.NET Core
- Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS ECS, RDS, Lambda, SQS) or equivalent
- Ability to mentor team members
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
