Job Summary
As the Engineering Manager - Notebook Dataplane at Databricks, you will lead a team responsible for running user code in the Notebook, driving the technical vision and execution for a stateful user code execution service. You'll collaborate with serverless platform teams to build the service, own the roadmap, and ensure high-quality deliverables. You should have over 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in engineering management, along with strong expertise in designing scalable SaaS platforms and distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering management experience
- Experience designing, building, and operating scalable SaaS platforms
- Expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern web application architectures
- Strong system-level skills

- Experience with containers and K8S
