Engineering Manager - Northern California

Lead and develop a team of engineers and designers in Northern California to meet productivity targets while upholding high quality and efficiency. Provide engineering guidance to an engineering team that may include Components Designers, Engineering Interns, and Professional Engineers. Responsibilities include leading the team, mentoring members, discussing projects with Supervisors/Engineers for policy compliance, reviewing customer and Product Management parameters against engineering standards, discussing design modifications and methodologies with customers/PM, assisting with troubleshooting and problem resolution, managing workload and ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining harmony and resolving grievances, and promoting a safe, collaborative, inclusive work environment. Leadership includes driving professional development, coaching, and enabling team members to excel. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 4+ years of engineering experience, and experience leading projects/initiatives; a PE license is preferred. The role requires approximately 5% travel and is office-based with MiTek benefits and a focus on quality and process improvement.
