Job Summary
Lead the Nav SDK team in advancing the maps and navigation ecosystem by mentoring engineers, fostering a culture of growth, and driving strategic objectives aligned with company goals. Define product roadmaps for Maps SDKs by partnering with Product and Engineering teams, while shaping the vision for rendering engines and contributing to business and product planning. Build an inclusive, collaborative environment where data-driven decisions fuel success across automotive, logistics, and consumer applications on iOS, Android, and Linux. Maintain high standards for quality and developer experience while executing high-impact projects with confidence. Requires 3+ years of engineering management experience leading teams of 5+ people and 5+ years in mobile SDK development.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of engineering management experience
- Proven track record of leading technical teams to deliver impactful products
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 5+ people
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development (iOS or Android)
- Experience developing Mobile SDKs
- Strong understanding of SDK architecture
- Strong understanding of API design
- Strong understanding of design patterns
- Best practices for building and maintaining reusable developer platforms
- Professional fluency in English (C1 level minimum)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Maps and Location Technologies, such as GIS systems
