Job Summary
Lead engineering teams across locations to manage schedules, KPIs, and project deliverables from concept to production. Oversee 2D/3D CAD and BIM drawing standards while coordinating with internal departments and third-party consultants. Drive innovation, process improvement, and software adoption within modular construction projects. Requires 6+ years managing design teams and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows. Collaborate with procurement, sales, and product development to adapt to high-volume workloads and changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership and modular design experience
- Proficient in CAD, BIM, and architectural systems
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Minimum 6 years managing engineering or design teams
- Strong ability to set and track KPIs to meet project deadlines
- Skilled in leading collaborative teams across multiple locations
- Effective communicator with internal teams and external partners
- 6+ years hands-on experience with CAD and BIM software, especially Revit and AutoCAD
- Deep knowledge of modular construction, manufacturing processes, and architectural drafting
- Familiar with 3D modeling, BIM workflows, and DFMA principles
- Experience managing drawing production and project submittals
- Proven ability to manage engineering schedules and documentation throughout project lifecycles
- Experience coordinating material data with production and operations teams
- Capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities and high-volume workloads
- Experience working with third-party consultants and cross-functional teams including procurement, sales, and product development
- Skilled at driving process improvements and adopting new design standards and tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Degree or equivalent experience in Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver projects on schedule
Desired Qualifications
- ERP experience preferred
- Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM 360, Lumion, Tekla, Procore, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino, Dynamo, and Grasshopper is a plus
