Engineering Manager, MLE

Engineering Manager, MLE on OpenAI's Integrity team. Lead and deploy state-of-the-art ML models and classifiers for content and user safety, collaborating with researchers, software engineers, and product managers to turn research into production-ready AI-powered solutions. Responsibilities include designing and deploying ML models, building scalable data pipelines, optimizing models for performance, leading by example in software engineering practices, mentoring teammates, and maintaining deployed models to sustain value. Requires strong background in deep learning, transformers, and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow; proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and cross-functional collaboration; and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
