Job Summary
Engineering Manager to lead and mentor frontend and backend teams for EDGEauditor and VetLogix, ensuring reliable, performant, and secure platform delivery. Responsibilities include overseeing multi-disciplinary engineering squads, conducting regular check-ins, improving internal processes, aligning squad goals with broader engineering objectives, providing hands-on debugging and architectural guidance, and leading technical design of scalable solutions. Collaborate closely with Product and QA to meet customer needs. Requires hands-on experience with Ruby or Python, Agile methods, Docker, and a track record of technical project planning, mentoring, and delivering impact. Strong English communication, leadership experience (min 2 years), and excellent project management and organizational skills are essential. Hybrid work flexibility with one remote day per week is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading and managing engineering teams
- Hands-on experience with Ruby, Python or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience working with Docker
- Proven experience in technical project planning, execution, and delivery
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering talent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time management abilities
