Job Summary
Engineering Manager to lead McCLARIN Composites engineering at Hanover, PA. Develop, coach and champion design engineering procedures; oversee the tooling lifecycle from concept through production handoff and maintenance; recruit, mentor and develop engineering staff; interface with customers to determine and validate requirements; develop customer quotations for development, prototyping, tooling and production; ensure compliance with operational standards and optimize labor and materials efficiencies across multiple disciplines and product categories; stay current with best practices and introduce new tools and approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited engineering program or a minimum of 10 years of product engineering experience
- 5 years of engineering management responsibility in a concurrent engineering environment
- Experienced in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and application of ANSI drawing preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail
- In-depth understanding of design, development and manufacturing processes
- Awareness of Quality policies and location of quality manuals
