Engineering Manager

Role: Kubernetes Engineer at Mavenir driving design, automation, and maintenance of scalable deployment and integration frameworks for cloud-native applications. Collaborate to build robust CI/CD pipelines, optimize Kubernetes environments, and ensure high reliability across deployments. Responsibilities include developing Docker images and Helm charts for application deployment, integrating third-party tools (HashiCorp Vault, Bitnami SealedSecrets, Cert-manager and trust-manager, Multus), implementing CI/CD automation with Jenkins, supporting Kubernetes-based deployments and lifecycle management, and enabling automation-driven improvements in deployment efficiency and system reliability. Skills emphasize Linux (RHEL or equivalent), Bash, Python, Git, and deep Kubernetes concepts (controllers, pod lifecycle, services, persistent volumes, StatefulSets) with familiarity in Helm 3+, IaC practices, and related tech (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, MariaDB, Keycloak). Emphasis on building maintainable, long-term solutions and a strong code-review culture, with a global-facing, remote-friendly organization ethos.
