Job Summary
Engineering Manager responsible for managing engineering/maintenance operations of hotel facilities, overseeing budgets, preventive maintenance, energy conservation, regulatory compliance, contract management, inspections, safety, guest and employee satisfaction, and leading safety and emergency response; requires experience in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and either HS diploma + 4 years or a 2-year degree with 2 years of related experience; supervises staffing, training, and coordination with external agencies and vendors in a hospitality setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
