Job Summary
Engineering Manager at Marriott International overseeing engineering/maintenance of the property, including building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), energy conservation, regulatory compliance, and asset protection. Responsible for budgeting, capital projects, preventive maintenance, and safety programs; leads emergency response and collaborates with guests and employees to enhance satisfaction. Supervises staff, conducts training on safety procedures, fire protection, and evacuation; interfaces with external contractors, city agencies, and vendors; manages inspections, service contracts, and inventory, and develops long-term plans for facility improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
- Language: French, English, and Tunisian
