Job Summary
Lead and grow a high-performing Infrastructure Engineering team responsible for core platform capabilities powering personalization, including GCP, Kubernetes, databases, and observability. Set strategy and execution for cloud architecture, platform reliability, cost governance, and automation; partner with product, security, and application teams to improve developer experience, delivery speed, and compliance. Establish and maintain platform standards, provide tooling and self-service enablement, drive reliability via SLOs/SLIs and incident postmortems, and manage budgets and cross-team collaboration. This full-time role is based in Central Europe (Bratislava, Brno, Prague) or remote, reporting to the Infrastructure leadership and contributing to multi-region, cloud-native scale.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in software/platform/infrastructure engineering
- 2+ years in people leadership
- experience managing infrastructure teams in cloud-native environments
- strong hands-on understanding of GCP services, Kubernetes in production, database operations, observability tooling and SRE practices
- experience building foundation/platform capabilities for multiple engineering teams
- experience with cloud cost monitoring and cost optimization at scale
- strong communication and stakeholder management skills
