Job Summary
Engineering Manager at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas). Leads department operations and engineering budgets, plans and evaluates preventative maintenance, supervises day-to-day engineering activities, manages physical plant systems (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, life safety), oversees upkeep of facilities and guest spaces, coordinates repairs and replacements, ensures regulatory compliance and safety standards, trains and supervises staff, and drives energy conservation initiatives while delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high customer-satisfaction levels.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
- technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
- 2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
- valid driver’s license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history
