Job Summary
Direct a multidisciplinary engineering team across backend, AI/ML, and frontend disciplines for Payer Intelligence, overseeing performance management cycles and recruiting top talent. Provide technical direction for Go, Python, and Vue 3 services while owning the reliability and cost profile of AI/ML pipelines, including model selection, prompt engineering, and multimodal document handling. Champion rigorous evaluation practices with golden datasets and regression suites, ensuring clear rules for production shipping. Own roadmap execution by partnering with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical scope, removing blockers and driving continuous improvement in team velocity and developer experience. Represent AI capabilities honestly to non-technical stakeholders and balance architectural decisions between speed, maintainability, and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- at least 2 years in an engineering management or team lead role
- Hands-on depth in at least one of the languages in our stack - Go, Python, or TypeScript
