Job Summary
Lead Hardware Integration for Apptronik's Apollo humanoid robot platform. Manage and mentor a specialized team of engineers and technicians focused on physical integration and assembly of complex humanoid robotic systems. Drive rapid prototyping to validate hardware concepts, conduct derisking experiments on electromechanical subsystems, oversee prototype hardware bring-up, and develop calibration schemes to align physical assembly with digital/control models. Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design teams to optimize modularity, reliability, and integration, and design/build hardware-in-the-loop testbeds to accelerate iteration. Own hardware configuration and maintain accurate top-level BoMs. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 6+ years of hands-on hardware robotics experience, 2+ years in a leadership/technical lead role, and strong prototyping, debugging, and cross-functional communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years hardware engineering experience in robotics
- 2+ years direct management or technical lead experience
- Prototyping expertise with rapid prototyping techniques
- Experience with hardware bring-up, calibration, and BoM management
