Job Summary
Lead a hands-on engineering team building compensation and savings features, including equity plans, pensions, and carry, for private and public companies. Set technical direction, review PRs, and ship code while coaching engineers on performance and career growth. Model and promote AI tool usage across the team to accelerate development. Own delivery rhythms, roadmap reviews, and sprint health for the feature team. Partner with product leadership to expand coverage into new compensation domains. This role sits within Ledgy's mission to make Europe a powerhouse of entrepreneurship by delivering a modern equity management and financial reporting platform. The team leverages TypeScript, React, and tRPC to serve employees navigating complex compensation structures.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in Engineering Management
- 6+ years as a Software Engineer
- meaningful time in product-focused or domain-heavy roles
- care deeply about correctness in domains where getting things wrong has real financial consequences
- comfortable with evolving scope
- Actively use AI tools to multiply your output
