Job Summary
Leads and develops an engineering team supporting two manufacturing sites to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance through process improvement and capital-project execution. Applies Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to optimize operations, manages $2–4M annual capital projects, and leverages data analysis and automation to enhance manufacturing processes. Collaborates with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to solve complex production challenges and leads change management to sustain improvements while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards including Process Safety Management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of engineering experience in chemical or process manufacturing environments
- 3+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience managing capital projects in a regulated environment
- Experience with PLC systems (e.g., Rockwell), SAP, and standard engineering software tools
