Job Summary

Assure that all activities and project work meet site EH&S expectations while investigating deviations and near-miss incidents. Monitor daily progress against team deliverables, providing guidance to ensure performance against schedule. Analyze equipment failures and operating deficiencies with the CMP Manufacturing Manager to establish containment and remediation. Investigate high-priority customer concerns and product quality issues with CMP Quality and Product Management to resolve them within requested timelines. Balance workloads, match internal skill sets to needs, and create professional development plans to address changing requirements. Provide key input to the Site Leadership team on resource needs, including participation in site resource planning and budgeting processes.

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • other technical disciplines with experience in automation, chemical manufacturing, or semiconductor manufacturing
  • A minimum of 6 to 8 years of work experience in high volume chemical manufacturing
  • Previous experience supervising and/or mentoring others
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • ability to communicate professionally with all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in ambiguous and rapidly changing situations
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities
  • Demonstrated process trouble-shooting and structured problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques and statistical analysis of data
  • Familiarity with JMP statistical software
  • Experience with LIMS, SAP, and SQL databases
  • Prior experience with SAP Mii
  • Ability to interact productively with all levels of the organization
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team driven environment
