Job Summary
Own the developer platform roadmap by identifying high-leverage problems, proposing strategy, and driving prioritization for CI/CD pipelines, build tooling, and observability. Lead a team of platform engineers in building the Amsterdam engineering hub, dogfood the platform, and run developer interviews to inform product decisions. Contribute to company-wide planning, review technical designs with depth, and help build the Amsterdam engineering culture through hiring and team rituals. Maintain genuine availability for overlap with global engineers while communicating clearly across time zones.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- significant time building developer platforms, internal tooling, or infrastructure that other engineers depend on
- 3+ years as an engineering manager
- experience owning a technical roadmap with high autonomy
- Deep technical expertise in modern developer platform work
- CI/CD systems
- container orchestration
