Engineering Manager (FinCore)

Job Summary
Own the FinCore domain by setting the 0-6 month technical roadmap and ensuring architectural consistency with senior engineers. Manage sprint planning, project health, and team capacity while balancing velocity and quality. Lead a team of engineers, handling performance reviews, career pathing, and hiring to foster a culture of ownership. Ensure system reliability, availability, and security by owning incidents, defining SLAs, and maintaining on-call rotas. Act as the primary liaison between engineering and product to drive full alignment and escalate issues effectively. Accountable for team KPIs including velocity, quality, and morale, while managing a limited budget for tools and project costs.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role, leading/supporting engineers
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Experience with agile development processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Passion for technology and innovation
- Ebury Malaga Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home
