Job Summary
Engineering Manager of a Ledgy feature team responsible for building compensation and savings features (equity plans, pensions, carry, and related tools) with a hands-on leadership style. You’ll lead engineers, set technical direction, coach for growth, and partner with PM/Design to expand compensation coverage. The role emphasizes domain-rich, financially significant features, AI-assisted workflows, and delivering clear, accessible employee-facing experiences. The team will work on a modern stack (TypeScript, React, tRPC, Node.js, MongoDB) across cloud/infrastructure tools, with hybrid work expectations (2 days in-office per week in London or Zurich). You'll engage in roadmap planning, code reviews, performance conversations, and drive the technical strategy for compensation and savings products, while remaining hands-on in practice.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in Engineering Management
- 6+ years as a Software Engineer
- experience in product-focused or domain-heavy roles
- comfortable with AI-assisted development and coaching
- hands-on coding and reviews
