Job Summary
Lead and mentor Forward Deployed Engineers building agentic solutions with Cohere's North platform in on-premises environments. Take ownership of customer success from technical implementation through delivery while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Sales to shape enterprise AI delivery. Build relationships with technical stakeholders and define processes that scale agent development across multiple client environments. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, focusing on bringing agentic solutions to every step of the development process. Manage a team of engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing technical excellence with hands-on leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams
- Experience managing engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise software at scale, with focus on agentic applications
- High agency - you don't wait for permission to solve problems
- A doer mentality - you dig in, get stuff done, and can execute in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills in English, with ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and business audiences
