Job Summary
Engineering Manager - Full Stack responsible for owning the technical direction, driving architecture on AWS, and staying hands-on with critical components. Lead teams to deliver complex projects, mentor engineers, promote AI-assisted development practices, and ensure scalable, secure, observable systems. Requires strong Java, Spring Boot, React, AWS expertise, 13+ years of software development with 3+ years in leadership, and a B.S./B.E. in Computer Science.
Required Qualifications
- B.S./B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 13+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Deep experience with AWS (EKS/Kubernetes, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, ECS, SQS, SNS, Fargate, DynamoDB, Aurora)
- Experience building REST/GraphQL/services
- Experience with Kafka and SQS/SNS
- SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB)
- CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring/observability tools
- AI tools experience for development productivity
- Frontend frameworks (React and/or Angular)
- SPA/Micro Frontends, GraphQL integrations
- Leadership and soft skills
- Ability to design end-to-end solutions across backend and UI
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- FinTech or consumer-facing product experience
- Understanding of security, reliability, and scalable distributed systems
- Hands-on with AI-powered DevOps or AI-assisted coding tools
