Engineering manager embedded

Engineering Manager for embedded software on Axon connected devices. Lead a high-impact team designing and developing embedded applications and network configurations for body-worn cameras and other public-safety products. Responsibilities include leading code reviews, shaping software architecture, coordinating with product managers and designers across global teams, driving quality, security, and performance, and recruiting/talent growth. Expect to manage a team of roughly 8 initially, onsite in Seattle, WA or Boston, MA, and to scale leadership as the product line expands. Qualifications emphasize 3 years leading teams with empathy, 10 years of embedded engineering experience, 5+ years in C/C++, Go, Rust, Python, and 5+ years of testing experience, plus knowledge of networking concepts and fundamentals in CS.
