Engineering Manager - Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls

Job Summary
Engineering Manager, Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls for nuclear projects. Leads execution and technical direction of engineering services for domestic and international CANDU reactors, manages a ~25-person team, ensures deliverables meet contract requirements, applicable codes and our QA program, and coordinates design interfaces between NSP and BOP. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related) and Ontario P.Eng., 10+ years in Electrical/Instrumentation/Control design, and 3-5 years of leadership on complex projects; 5+ years of nuclear/CANDU experience is an asset. Strong knowledge of safety systems, control platforms (DCS, PLC, SCADA), and multidisciplinary interfaces; ability to mentor engineers, manage priorities, and travel to sites as needed. Hybrid working culture with flexible balance between office and site work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- 10+ years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Design
- 3-5 years of experience leading engineering scopes and technical teams on complex projects
