Job Summary
Manage and grow a team of experienced engineers building applications, tools, and infrastructure that drive security products for hundreds of millions of users. Lead solutions impacting user risk analysis and mitigation by collaborating with scientists and stakeholders to develop cutting-edge features for fraud and automation detection. Participate in code and architecture design, maintain high quality standards through peer reviews, and mentor engineers to make informed technical decisions. Utilize scalable technologies like Kubernetes and Docker to design systems handling millions of requests per second while leveraging edge workers for unique insights.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of leading or managing engineering teams
- Extensive experience with Typescript or Python
- Understanding of distributed systems and scaled operations
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker
- Demonstrated leadership skills in building a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with edge workers (Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Edge Compute or Akamai Serverless Compute)
- Production level applications with Rust and or Golang
