Job Summary
Engineering Manager to lead and direct a team of engineers in designing, developing, and improving new and existing products for aerospace environmental control systems. Responsible for planning R&D proposals, selecting design concepts, overseeing projects and performance data, approving funding proposals, developing staff, implementing policies and procedures, monitoring project progress, coordinating with manufacturing and quality, reviewing production costs and product quality, planning for sales and new markets, and negotiating contracts with consulting firms. Requires CAD proficiency, MS Office (MS Project a plus), and travel for customer onsite meetings; on-site at Seminole, OK, with FAA drug and alcohol testing. The role emphasizes leadership, project oversight, budgeting, and collaboration with manufacturing, operations, and quality teams.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field
- 7+ years’ experience in engineering, mechanical design, or similar
- At least 4 years of direct managerial experience leading and directing a team
- Proficient in the use of CAD design and analysis tools
- Proficient in the use of MS Office software, knowledge and experience with MS Project a plus
- Ability to take periodic travel required to support customer onsite meetings and reviews, both domestic and international
- Ability to work on-site at the Seminole, OK facility Monday – Friday
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
