Job Summary
Lead and manage a product engineering team focused on airgap-native software that integrates with UDS to accelerate ATO, guiding architecture, delivery, and security of scalable, highly available systems. Own the team's commitments, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement in code quality, architecture, and processes. Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Delivery to align roadmaps with customer requirements, while maintaining strong cross-functional communication about specifications, budgets, and deadlines. Possess a strong cloud-native and Kubernetes background, with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation expertise, and stay current with trends to enhance production efficiency for defense-focused software. Travel expectations: 10-25%.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of industry experience in building, maintaining, and managing platforms/infra (preferred)
- 2+ years experience managing engineering teams in remote/distributed environments
- Strong technical background in software engineering
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage roadmaps
- Understanding of airgapped systems and edge devices (desirable)
