Job Summary
Engineering Manager leads aerospace/industrial connector product development and guides engineering teams to deliver projects on time and on budget. Role combines engineering depth with leadership to define product needs with customers, oversee design and development activities, apply FMEA and Lean practices, manage budgets and resources, conduct regular team and project meetings, and mentor engineers and interns. Requires Creo CAD proficiency, MS Office/ERP familiarity, and ability to operate in a lean manufacturing environment; approximately 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Strong project management experience
- Leadership skills; ability to motivate and guide a team
- Training/experience with FMEA creation and deployment methodologies
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards
- Proficient CAD software (Creo preferred) and MS Office; ERP knowledge
- Practical knowledge of machines, production plants, and sites
- Ability to mentor and coach interns, engineers, and technical staff
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Lean manufacturing environment experience
- 10% domestic and international travel expected
