Job Summary

Lead the CTL/SSL/CUL product performance and integration team responsible for machine controls development, software delivery, systems integration, and performance optimization across the product lifecycle. Guide engineering decisions and remove technical barriers while managing staff activities to achieve organizational goals, professional development, and continuous improvement. Own machine performance quality and customer acceptance from concept through end of lifecycle, applying deep technical expertise in controls, software, and systems integration. Monitor and continuously improve product and process performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness across engineering activities and deliverables. Lead the technology MGPP for CTL/SSL/CUL products in line with the advanced technology strategy. Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum. This role involves 5 days per week in the office in Sanford, NC.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
  • Equivalent industry experience to the degree requirement
  • Ability to develop, communicate, and align short- and long-term plans that support business objectives and guide effective execution
  • Ability to analyze information, evaluate alternatives, and make sound decisions based on informed judgment and business impact
  • Ability to apply deep technical knowledge to solve complex engineering challenges and guide effective controls, software, performance, and systems integration solutions
  • Ability to listen effectively, communicate clearly, interpret information accurately, and influence others through concise, audience-focused messaging
  • Ability to understand changing customer and market needs and respond with solutions that consistently deliver value
  • Ability to lead, develop, and support effective teams while addressing performance, development, and workplace challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technology and integration projects by coordinating work across multiple cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes through strong working relationships
  • Proven leadership in developing, integrating, and supporting complex machine or vehicle systems, with system-level ownership of requirements, performance, and functional interactions
  • Experience leading hands-on tuning and validation of machine or vehicle systems in real-world applications to deliver functionality and performance that meet customer and product requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to quality or customer acceptance issues in the field, guiding teams toward effective resolution while maintaining customer confidence
