Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of engineers in software or AI fields, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development while overseeing projects within program management timelines. Offer technical expertise in design and development, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining best practices. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Program, and QA to coordinate product goals and timelines. Participate in recruitment efforts to attract and retain top engineering talent, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement action plans. Continuously evaluate and improve development processes, tools, and practices to enhance team efficiency and quality. Requires minimum 5 years in software engineering or AI with at least 2 years in leadership, proficiency in languages like C++, Python, or Go, and experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies. US citizenship required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in software engineering or AI or data science
- At least 2 years in leadership or management role
- Background in one or more technologies or programming languages, such as C++, Python, GoLang, Java, JavaScript, Machine Learning, Signal Processing, Data Science, SQL, with experience in development
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies
- Proven experience in mentoring and managing engineering teams, with a focus on team development, growth, and retention
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
