Job Summary
Engineering Manager to lead plant engineering, maintenance, and technical operations at a Gulf-coast fish-processing facility in Empire, LA. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, performing reliable repairs, ensuring regulatory maintenance and documentation, tracking KPIs (downtime, production, labor hours), coordinating with EHS for facility compliance, managing maintenance spending, overseeing capital projects and facility upgrades, budgeting, contractor coordination, and providing monthly project analyses. Manages engineering and maintenance teams, drives continuous improvement, and ensures safety and best practices. Requirements include a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) with 7-10 years in engineering/maintenance and at least 3 years of supervisory experience; proficiency with AutoCad, MS Projects, SAP PM, and MS Office; strong focus on cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
- 7-10 years experience with a minimum of 3 years of direct supervisory experience
- Proven experience managing engineering and maintenance teams
- Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCad, MS Projects, SAP(PM)
