Job Summary
As an Engineering Manager at Databricks, you will build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale, working with multiple teams on resource management infrastructure for big data and machine learning workloads. Responsibilities include developing reliable services and client libraries for cloud use, hiring and supporting engineers, establishing high technical standards, coordinating projects across teams, and building a long-term roadmap. Ideal candidates will have experience in managing large-scale distributed web services and a strong engineering background.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Engineering experience
- 2 years of Engineering Management experience
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale distributed web services
- Background in computer science or a related field
- Ability to develop innovative features alongside PM, Sales, and Customers
