Job Summary
Lead a team of senior engineers managing the shared infrastructure powering Flo's AI features, from chatbots to personalized health insights. Translate product goals into clear roadmaps while coordinating cross-pod dependencies and resolving blockers. Participate in architectural reviews to maintain high standards for safety, medical compliance, and performance. Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders across Product, Analytics, and Engineering, representing Flo's AI vision to industry partners including Databricks, OpenAI, and AWS. Manage a dynamic environment balancing reactive product needs with long-term roadmap delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record managing engineering teams in fast-moving product environments
- Direct, hands-on experience leading or building ML systems in production
- Understanding of MLOps, model serving, or AI platform engineering
- Technical depth to participate in architecture discussions and credibly guide technical trade-offs
- Comfortable operating where priorities shift
- Ability to protect roadmap momentum while absorbing urgent requests
- Ability to thrive in cross-functional setups
- Ability to manage diverse teams in an agile environment
