Job Summary
Lead a team of AI developers and data scientists to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered software solutions for Birdeye's Insights product. Architect RAG and agentic pipelines that run reliably at multi-tenant SaaS scale while partnering with Product to turn fuzzy ideas into shipped GenAI features. Define the technical direction for LLM-powered systems, own the roadmap end-to-end, and mentor engineers into the next generation of AI leaders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions, ensure model quality through rigorous testing, and manage resources including budget allocation and recruitment. Stay close to the code to unblock the team and represent Insights AI in broader company strategy.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Agentic AI /Gen AI/ AI and Machine learning
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team
- Participate in hands-on development and problem-solving when necessary
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and software engineers, to integrate AI solutions into software products
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of AI models and algorithms
- Implement best practices for testing and validation of AI systems
- Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management
- Manage resources effectively, including budget allocation and staffing
- Recruit, train, and develop AI team members
