Job Summary
Engineering Manager for the Account Security pod (AccSec) within Roblox's Safety organization. Lead and define the strategy/roadmap to reduce account takeover (ATO) and its impact, collaborate with data science and product partners, mentor engineers, contribute to architectural reviews, and drive security features from inception to launch at scale for millions of concurrent players. Responsibilities include setting the vision for security/identity features, guiding product/infrastructure improvements, and ensuring safe, civl experiences across the Roblox platform. Requires entrepreneurial mindset, technical depth, and experience leading high-performing teams in security or abuse mitigation, with the role based onsite in San Mateo, CA (hybrid schedule). Required Qualifications
- Experience in account security, identity, or fraud detection, or abuse detection
- Track record of leading teams as they land security or abuse fighting features from inception, to prioritization, to alignment, to implementation and finally launch
- Experience in people leadership. You have led (and grown) high-performing engineering teams.
