Job Summary
Engineering Manager responsible for recruiting, developing, supervising, and managing the engineering department, including resource planning, budgeting, and process standardization (notably BIM and QA practices). Oversees project scheduling, scope alignment, and reviews engineering deliverables and codes; leads pre-sales activities including system evaluation and life cycle costing; mentors engineers, team leads, and supervisors; collaborates with Sales Management on career planning; drives department culture and performance reviews, and ensures adherence to enterprise engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or Construction Management
- 10+ years of experience with 5 years in a leadership position managing engineers
- Professional Engineering license highly desirable
- Excellent understanding of engineering fundamentals and constructability
- Excellent familiarity with Building Codes and industry standards
- Strong understanding of building modeling
- Skilled in developing teams and managing people
