Job Summary
Lead all ClearWellness technology initiatives by coordinating software development, managing sprint execution, and prioritizing technical work to ensure successful delivery. Serve as the primary engineering lead, maintaining disciplined portfolio management to execute only approved initiatives while overseeing offshore contractor relationships and delivery oversight. Collaborate with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and executive stakeholders to align solutions with healthcare, security, and regulatory requirements. Evaluate technical efforts to recommend prioritization based on business impact and operational needs, ensuring all solutions comply with HIPAA and privacy standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field
- A minimum of seven (7) years of software engineering experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of technical leadership, engineering management, or team lead experience
- Experience working within healthcare, healthcare technology, digital health, wellness, telehealth, or other regulated industries
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, including mentoring others, leading initiatives or workstreams, contributing to best practices, and driving cross-functional outcomes
- Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels
- Strong analytical, planning, and budgeting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality, results-driven, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as needed and travel up to 10%, which may include occasional overnight travel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern communication tools for virtual teams such as Microsoft Teams and Slack
- Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without a current or future need for Visa sponsorship
