Job Summary
Engineering Management Intern focused on CAD modeling with Solidworks, 3D printing, and prototype fabrication within the Program & Test Support Group in Albuquerque. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, prototype fabrication/procurement, test support and data analysis, technical writing, and program-management data collection/archiving. Must be enrolled full-time as an undergrad, have 2+ years in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Management, be proficient with MS Office and Solidworks, and be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance (US Citizenship). On-site in Albuquerque, NM, with part-time hours aligned to student schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled, full-time student in a Bachelor’s Degree program at an accredited university, with 2 or more years completed in pursuit of Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or Management Degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with Solidworks (or other 3D CAD Software)
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Able to work in Albuquerque, NM
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, which includes US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with Solidworks (or other 3D CAD Software)
- Hands-on fabrication/assembly of mechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with 3D Printing
- Technical writing experience
- Engineering drawings experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or above (preferred)
