Job Summary
Maintenance Engineer role at Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway, responsible for general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; perform electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, and air conditioning systems; repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems; perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, and related equipment; maintain logs and prepare reports as requested; collaborate with team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a hotel environment; requires attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or resort maintenance role
- Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing)
- Engaging and Welcoming personality
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
