Job Summary

Conduct a real-world, strategic business project for the summer, presenting objectives, processes, and results to leadership by program end. Collaborate with experienced professionals and a cohort of talented students through mentorship, networking, and executive speaker sessions. Participate in team case competitions and the Intern Summit to expand your network and accelerate growth. Work approximately 40 hours weekly at one of eight locations across the U.S. from late May through mid-August 2027. This 12-week program prepares you for Pentair's three-year Engineering Leadership Development Program, which includes relocation opportunities and potential full-time offers upon graduation.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Currently enrolled as a junior
  • Be willing to work during the summer in one of our Internship locations (New Brighton – MN, White Bear Lake - MN, Hanover Park – IL, North Aurora – IL, Apex – NC, Sanford – NC, Bishop Woods – WI, Delavan – WI, Manitowoc - WI)
  • Have a strong interest in pursuing Pentair's Engineering Leadership Development Program which is a three-year rotational program that requires relocation and working in locations throughout the United States
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Cross-cultural insight and competence
