Job Summary

Own the day-to-day operations of a multi-disciplinary engineering lab (supporting Electrical, Mechanical, Compliance, Integration & Firmware teams) to keep the lab running efficiently. Responsibilities include organizing resources, streamlining workflows, ensuring safety and accessible environments, managing inventory and procurement, calibrations, vendor coordination, ensuring tools/test setups are ready, eliminating bottlenecks, maintaining compliance and performing audits, and standardizing workflows to build scalable lab systems. Requires 3+ years in lab operations or engineering support in an electrical lab, experience with inventory/asset tracking, and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3+ years in lab operations, engineering support, or similar environment
  • 3+ years experience in a engineering electrical lab environment
  • Experience working with engineering teams (Electrical, Mechanical, Integration, Firmware, or Compliance)
  • Experience with inventory, asset tracking, or equipment management (Excel, SAP, other tracking tools)
  • Experience in an engineering lab environment (preferred)
  • Familiarity with calibration, safety, and compliance practices
  • Experience improving processes or implementing tracking systems
  • Proven problem-solver who can operate independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
