Job Summary
Mechanical Design Intern role supporting the Product Engineering group with hands-on component testing, data collection, and drafting support using NX 3D/2D. Requires freshman year of a Mechanical Engineering bachelor's degree, strong communication/analytical skills, proficiency in Word/Excel, and experience with 2D/3D CAD; responsibilities include engineering support for projects, releasing drawings/documents via SAP & Teamcenter, and participating in training during a summer full-time internship. The role emphasizes following instructions, ESG/EHS adherence, and contributing to product development and documentation in a structured environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of freshman year of BSc Mechanical Engineering degree
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Sound computer skills in Word and Excel
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems
- An Interest in rotating machinery and manufacturing is beneficial
