Job Summary
Develop proposals, bids, and quotations for SEL products and engineering services by gathering technical and commercial information and reviewing customer specifications. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project teams to ensure accurate submissions, while assisting with site walks for engineering data collection under supervision. Maintain knowledge of SEL processes and technologies, applying company values and manufacturing principles to all tasks. Work cooperatively in a team environment to support high-quality proposal packages.
Required Qualifications
- Current student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Negative drug test result(s)
- Houston, TX
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts or power systems
- Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar tools
- Experience in programming and script files
- Knowledge of SEL products and services
- Experience with technical writing or documentation
