Job Summary
Conduct significant projects while gaining professional experience with current technology and contributing to the mill's production of packaging, copy, and printing paper. Work with an individualized performance plan and a personal sponsor to receive ample feedback on performance and suggestions for program enhancement. Build communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills essential for a career while connecting with people across the company to learn about future opportunities. Maintain a minimum 6-month commitment starting in Fall 2026 or January 2027, passing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. This role supports world-class performance at the NORPAC mill, part of International Paper, through safety, teamwork, and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be obtaining a degree in Pulp and Paper Science, Bio-Resource Science, Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum sophomore year standing
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Looking for a minimum 6-month commitment
- Must be a college Sophomore, Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an engineering program
