Job Summary
Support Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams with day-to-day projects focused on process improvement, safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Collect, organize, and analyze production data to support operational decision-making while helping develop work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures. Participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and problem-solving activities to identify workflow opportunities that reduce waste. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to implement solutions that enhance operational performance.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Strong interest in manufacturing operations and process improvement
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Willingness to learn and contribute in a hands-on manufacturing setting
Desired Qualifications
- Coursework or exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operations Management concepts
- Experience with manufacturing, engineering, or technical projects through coursework, clubs, or internships
- Familiarity with production metrics, data analysis, or process documentation
- Participation in engineering, manufacturing, or leadership organizations
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in Manufacturing Engineering or Operations
