Job Summary
Engineering Interface Manager – GSI NSE Region serves as the Single Point of Contact between the Global Engineering Center and assigned GSI NSE Region, coordinating engineering activities, leading engineers, managing resources, and ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery with quality standards. Responsibilities include technical leadership across disciplines, design coordination, change management, administrative tasks (POs, invoices), mobilization planning, risk management, and fostering collaboration across regions and stakeholders. Requires extensive leadership, deep technical expertise in electrical substations (AIS/GIS/HVDC/FACTS/STATCOM/Onshore/Offshore/Renewable), ability to travel globally (3–4 weeks quarterly), and a proven track record in project engineering management, cost control, and quality/EHS adherence. Describes a dynamic, international role with flexible work agreements and opportunities for professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent including power systems and power electronics subjects or proven equivalent knowledge and/or experience in Electrical Substations business (AIS/GIS/HVDC/FACTS/STATCOM/Onshore/Offshore/Renewable/etc.)
- Min 10+ years of design / project engineering experience in the EHV/HV electrical substations (AIS/GIS/HVDC/FACTS/STATCOM/Onshore/Offshore/Renewable/etc.)
- Min 5+ Years of People Management role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be flexible with working hours and willing to travel to support projects globally
