Job Summary
Lead design of policies, processes, and procedures for major Engineering improvement initiatives across operating units; influence leadership decisions, engage cross-functional stakeholders, and disseminate information; develop and train employees on policies, processes, and procedures; apply Lean thinking and project management to close execution gaps; manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders and vendors; require a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with advanced Lean/PM credentials (PMP, Lean Black Belt) and driver’s license; role located in Honolulu, Oahu; salary range $109,900–$139,800.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field or equivalent
- Mastery level knowledge of Lean thinking principles and best practices; ability to obtain Certified Lean Sensei or Black Belt
- Thorough knowledge of project management standards and methodologies; ability to obtain PMP Certification
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (SOX, PUC)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; facilitation and communication skills
- Experience in planning/design of electric utility systems; supervisory experience desirable
- Must have or be able to qualify for a State of Hawaii driver’s license
