Job Summary
Manage Engineering KPIs for OTD and Quality metrics while executing Hysys and project plans for Gas seal systems. Coordinate work distribution across team members in DOSE and MS Project, providing accurate man-hour estimates and promise dates to stakeholders. Lead training for engineering teams on vent studies and align service levels with internal expectations. Oversee technical clarifications, deviations, and customer approval cycles, supporting supply chain alignment and vendor identification. Work in morning, general, or evening shifts to maintain work-life balance while driving team performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (Mechanical / Chemical / Instrument)
- 8+ years' experience in engineering, or similar functions
- Domain knowledge in process engineering & seal systems in Polymer, Pharmaceutical, Fertilizer, Refinery and Turbomachinery areas
- Good understanding of engineering process needs in design and operations, key business drivers and industry practices
- Excellent communication skills to articulate strategies and drive a coordinated action plan
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to prioritize and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and multitasking are essential
- 100% Compliance to processes & procedures laid down by organization e.g. iprojects, DOSE, TC, SAP, etc.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and implement important initiatives
- Contribute to safety measures and company policies
- Quick Learner with sound technical and analytical skills
- Good in understanding and reading drawing capabilities
- Liaise with respective Stake holder and drawing offices
- Support safe workplace cultures and compliance with Smiths EH&S
- Drive compliance to ISO & SES guidelines
- Work in Morning / General / Evening Shift
